The belt is well made in every way, made of good materials and evenly spaced buckles. I have many western style belts and wear them every day but I chose this one to keep me looking neat and presentable at work. I think it would be a great choice for Friday night honky tonk, but I'm not sure it will hold up to everyday wear as it had multiple layers of leather of different colors and textures. The time will show. Despite my concerns about everyday wear, I'm very happy with my purchase and think Nocana is a good brand to look out for (I probably have several). I get a lot of compliments which help justify the price and I have to say that they fit exactly as I hoped, using the sizing information in the description.
