More of a groove cleaner than a sharpener
Although there is some abrasive on the sides of the tool, it doesn't "sharpen" the ridges really well, but it does clean and refresh the ridges a bit. Expect something radical. It is very inexpensive, compact and durable. Worth tossing in your bag with all your other golf gear that you rarely use. Just kidding. It's worth the investment and you'll use it from time to time.
- With a 4" aluminum handle and non-slip grip, the sharpener is strong enough to remove sand and soft enough not to damage your favorite golf clubs.
