2004 Chevrolet Impala 9c1 (Easy Lock Wire)

So I bought this for my doors which are power doors but not remote door locks. It was designed for use with Avital 5103L, also purchased from Revain. The relay module is connected to the Avital box. My door has 1 wire for locking and unlocking and I didn't know how to connect it (or anything) but I bought it with remote start anyway because a forum said I need it. My car needs to be unlocked with a normal ground signal and locked to ground through a 480 ohm resistor. Long story short, I cut the brown/black and white/black wires. I grounded the purple wire and connected the blue/black wire to the car's lock/unlock wire. Then I connected the green/black wire to a 470 ohm resistor by wrapping it around the thin resistance wire and using electrical tape and zip ties. I then connected the open end of the resistor to the blue/black wire using more tape and zip ties. You can solder if you know what you're doing. As a side note, my particular car (different for each model of course) uses a separate orange/black wire for the locks. Everywhere I read that the wire was in the door, but when I pulled out the rubber hose that connects my door/car and hides the wires, I saw that the orange/black wire went into my car. I finally found it at the main fuse box and main wiring group. Hopefully your relay can also be found in the car so you don't have to trigger the relay through the car door.
