Loads can be reduced, but not removed. You remove it from the brush - you load your finger. One person even wrote (like on Habré) that he brought it to surgery, playing a trackball in a quake (?). But these are extremes. It is possible that vertical mice can also diversify the load, but I don’t know how they can be used with accuracy and ease of positioning. There is a certain desire to try. I myself didn’t even try to play the trackball, I already have three game mice left. I also didn’t find it convenient to use in Photoshop, although people write something about all sorts of autocads, they say it’s convenient. But I have an mx400 on my desk under my left hand and a gaming one still connected next to my right, so there is a choice of a working tool depending on the software application used. Due to the short term of ownership, problems with mikriks do not bother me. In which case, I can bend the contacts in the mikrik, in extreme cases, you can solder the mikrik or replace the bending element in the mikrik. By the way, after buying it, I read in the bottom of the reviews that you can adjust the direction of the cursor movement to the movement of your thumb - the "Orientation Settings" item in SetPoint. Adds a little convenience. I think the main disadvantage is the lack of a rocker on the wheel. If a new model with a rocker comes out, you will have to buy it. This is an individual matter, of course, some do not understand why this is necessary, but in most cases trackballs are bought not from a good life, but to make life easier for the brush, and rockers with minimal effort allow you to perform the necessary actions if you bind something useful on them.
