Fakes aren't exactly the same

EDIT: I'm updating this to 4. This part works pretty well. I don't notice much difference in use. The main difference is that my phone doesn't notify me when I leave it. I didn't lose the original that way. I lost it because I dropped my phone. This can happen to the original or a replacement if it lands a certain way. If you want one from LG, you'll have to pay the price of the stylus plus shipping. I will not replace my current pen as long as it works and is not lost. it's good enough PREVIOUS: The stylus is nowhere near as durable as the original that came with the camera. It works. The phone recognizes when I pick it up and the pen options open. And it recognizes when it's inserted. But when I leave my pen and walk away, my phone doesn't let me know my pen is far away. The original must have a chip that interacts with the phone. I looked further after it arrived and saw that LG's website was selling replacements. If their replacement parts were more durable and performed like the originals, I think this would be a better option. I think this pen will work, but I would never let a child handle it. I would have preferred the quality of the original.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • Hard to tell
