For those who are interested, I am writing to you today regarding my sincere dislike for what is unconditionally driving up the prices of spare parts. bought a 10k lbs x20 winch with a wireless remote control. At first I was very happy with the product. I lost the remote on my first day on the trail. All my fault. I asked for a replacement and was shocked that the remote was literally half the price ($250) of the winch itself. I know I could get a regular non-wireless remote control, but after owning the winch for just a day I wanted to make the setup complete again. Yes, I bought replacements. But this experience cemented my decision to NEVER buy another SmittyBilt product again. . I think this is a complete disrespect for the 4WD community and just plain wrong.
