this is a great product! Received this item just in time for the truss installation work I did earlier this month. Me and my Habitat 4 fellows in humanity were installing trusses on an H4H house and one of my comrades had them lay out a different brand of truss brace and used it first. We were installing trusses on a 48 foot H4H house when the spacing between trusses was over. 48 feet, we installed spacers on the last 3 or 4 trusses and when they put them on the trusses they were right, DEAD-ON 24"OC, and left them on the trusses until the roof was sheathed because I making a temporary mount so they can be reused in future H4H homes my cameras loved the product before I got it we would have had to use 2x4's on the last few trusses to hold them together and now I have this and it saves Time, money and crane operator time, use of lumber and allows you to get the job done quickly On the day we installed the trusses, we installed ALL 24 26 foot wide roof trusses on a 48 foot long residential building in 1 hour: 27 Minutes My Crew Commander recommended the use of this item in every house H4H and I agreed and will continue to use it with any farm chores and plan to make more ka in the future run. Great product saves time and $$$$$ and its lightweight and compact product can be used as temporary or permanent truss brace. If you want to use the item in future jobs, make it temporary and you can use it again. Simson Strong Tie can have the same rafter/truss product with a center spacing of 16 inches.
