Cable defective after 3 weeks
I was about to return it when I came across reviews that the USB cable was delivered in poor quality. I ordered a new cable, boom everything works. It's a little louder compared to my Seagate but for the price it's great for the Xbox 1st gen my son uses. It comes with one of those flimsy flat cables which in my experience was pretty much junk. If you buy one, be prepared to upgrade the cable if you have problems.
