Review on Folding Hitch Bicycle Rack For 4 Bikes By Rage Powersports Elevate Outdoor by Joe Bottomkent

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not durable good for me

I used it for local trips for several years with no issues. I just took it on a 2200 mile trip, though, and it was bad news. First, the joint at the bottom of the riser cracked and nearly dumped everything onto the highway. Then, the rubber straps started randomly popping off. By the end of the trip, I had welded the riser, added ropes from the top of the rack to the roof rack of my car, and straps to tie the bikes on to the rack. There are probably better options than this bike rack.

Pros
  • For 2" Class III/IV hitches; the adapter can be removed for use with 1.25" receivers (includes pinch bolt); measure your hitch receiver from the pin hole before purchase to make sure this rack will fit your vehicle; end of the support brace to the center of the bike rack hitch pin hole is 2.5"
Cons
  • The rack is often too bulky to fit in standard-sized garage spaces
