They promote easy install and they were right; all materials were provided. Screw mounting plate to ceiling/wall. Run the two long, black and white pigtail wires (no ground) through the plate to connect to the source (use two clip connectors also provided). Hold light up to mounting plate and give counterclockwise turn to lock. Works great!Bright light (about 3400 lumens), daylight (5000K) and uses only 36 watts. It also had a great price. Wide dispersal of light and when illuminated just looks light a bright disc of light almost flush to the mounting surface. Very unobtrusive; projects about an inch from surface. A great choice.
