That would probably be ok if the magnetic head didn't roll down every time you put your phone on it. I put it in a comfortable position and a few seconds after attaching the phone to it, the hinge falls off rendering the phone unusable. And don't try to attach the clip to anything wider than its shape. It will not return to its original size. Since I couldn't get the pivot to stay in place I figured I'd try mounting it on the dash thicker than my sun visor. That didn't work either, but now it doesn't press against my visor anymore. 😖
