Review on Conceal and Organize Wires with ZhiYo TV Cord Cover (Upgrade Version) – Wall Mount Cable Management Raceway for Neat TV Setup (White, 31.5 inch) by Anthony Heinrichs

Not bad, but not great

I installed them in my garage where all the electrical wires are 2x4 staples nailed to the cinder block walls. This is technically compliant, but I wanted to add extra water protection just in case. The cable protectors are simple vinyl tubes that you attach to the wall, slide the cable in, and close. I bolted mine to the tree instead of using the nanotape that came in the box. Whenever possible, use a screw. The Nanoband itself is great. I have used it for several paintings hanging on my walls. You should technically be able to cut pipe with a utility knife, but it's such a pain! I used a mini circular saw. If you plan on making fancy bevels I suggest you get a hand miter saw - the basic ones are $20 and you'll be glad you bought them. Technically, the conduit should be large enough to accommodate 2 standard Romex cables. . Although my electrics are 40 years old (so the wires are much thicker) and I'm having trouble connecting two wires at once. In general, cable protection is fine. To be honest, I'm not happy with the look. It's ok for a garage, but I won't put it at home

Pros
  • Strong double-sided adhesive: no drilling or nailing required. Polyethylene tape is strong enough. If you wait 24 hours and run the cables in a cable tray, the liability is higher.
Cons
  • So-so

It’s exactly what you would hope to get out of a cord cover.
