He is less than a year old

And he was never able to connect to the internet. Now it cannot recognize the hard drive. The main reason I bought it was the hard drive it came with. It worked less than nine months. It's a cheap system with a lot of features. But my old system never just died. The Swann DRV and hard drive I had before worked five years after I bought it. Less resolution but I'd like to keep it. A security system with a hard drive that fails so easily is really useless.
