This mount is a secure fit. It looks quite small but stretches enough to fit in my 6 inch phone and its protective case! I love that I have full access to my phone's screen, buttons, and ports. It held my phone in place during a fairly bumpy 30 minute ride. One thing to watch out for is when removing the phone, detach the side with all the buttons on the phone first so the silicone doesn't accidentally press the button when you pull on the opposite side. Silicone should have pretty good durability. This is a great case to use your phone in good weather. If you have one of those newfangled waterproof phones, this is a great case, period!
