First comes the frame with cardboard. I tried to frame my photo with cardboard. That does not work. Maybe you're luckier than me. Second, when removing the "stand" be sure to peel the plastic away from the frame as this will affect the stand of the frame and also it will be VERY difficult to insert the stand into the grooves. You may also need to remove a small piece from the stand hook as it was difficult to insert even though I removed what was left of the frame. Even so, you may still need to adjust the miner with a knife to remove a very small amount of the hook. Made several attempts before I succeeded. When I did that everything was fine. You can also remove a small part of the kickstand to allow the frame to tilt backwards a bit. This will be your call. Otherwise the frame does the job you expect it to do. Not bad for the price.
