2 main complaints about this product: 1) it's not very wide. There are probably dimensions, but I don't think I noticed. The coverage on both sides is only about 1/4 inch. So 1/4" at the top of the step and 1/4" at the front. It covers the sharp edge, but barely. 2) The tape is a separate roll, so you need to measure and cut the tape, then cut the plastic corner, then stick the tape on the step, then try to stick the tread directly on it. This makes it quite difficult to apply on steps. Also, on a few of my 6-8 steps, the ends of the edge protector would occasionally separate from the band and I would have to push it back down.
