I've had this kit for a week now and have disassembled and reassembled about 10 laptops. I needed it to access a set of T5 screws and 6 sided drives. All items in the set have adequate magnetization (except for one which is too weak, but I can hold two drivers at once so it doesn't bother me). The metal is hard enough to be gripped but soft enough not to snap off thin screws. and if you REALLY removed one of the drivers, you can just buy a better replacement for it and the rest stays in place.
