works well alone without application
Nice glue, I put it on the street side window as a light decoration. It's great for switching colors between holidays and occasions. I will take another pair to add to my car. Tips: You only need to install the app to change the colors and lighting scheme. Once set up, it will be plug and play. I plugged it into a switched outlet and tried using the AC adapter. Both work!
