I'm usually very hard to please. I'm an engineer so everything can be improved and this is no different. It's amazing that it's just one thing. A little something. A trifle is that it does not even reduce the number of stars. However, let's start with what they got right: This thing is fierce. For about $10, I was expecting flimsy, brittle plastic. He is not fragile. The CD insertion clip and base feel heavy enough to be metal. and the ball joint and screw are made of durable polymer. The clip holds very well and has a silicone seal to prevent damage to the stereo. The phone holder is well designed for both vertical and horizontal use and makes positive clicks when clamping to ensure it snaps into place. The trigger is easily accessible and easy to use, and it looks good. So what's the matter with her? It's a small thing, but I'd rather have a nylon nut for the wing nut bolt. This will minimize the chance of the screw loosening. I haven't had it long enough to know if it will be a problem, but the cars vibrate, the roads are not smooth, so I'm guessing the CD insertion clamp needs regular tightening. The nylon screw prevents this. Overall a hell of a lot, especially for a product with such a good price. Finally, if you have a CD player in your car, this phone holder is a must-have.
