Grip broke off when reloading overzealously. I contacted Amazon who put me in touch with Radioddity who makes radios. Vevina contacted me immediately and I asked if I could get a replacement pen. She said no but sent me a brand new unit. Which got to my house before I even read the email that a replacement had been sent (wow)! sw3 is a good radio and I've learned my lesson about hand cranks, slow and steady pace wins the race. Also, the manual crank is for emergencies, but I like to use it when I'm listening to the radio about 15-20 times in a row and only need to crank for 2 or 3 minutes. Spinning faster doesn't give more power, it just makes me stupid. rzunimag. I am very satisfied with the radio and the customer support!
