Very disappointed! I'm working on a Homart brand sink (porcelain dated April 18, 1959) - it's replacing plastic faucet washers that cracked just a few days ago. These brass faucet nuts would have been a perfect replacement for the cheap plastic nuts that broke but it didn't work. The brass nuts thread nicely onto the faucet's 1"-14 threads per inch extension after a quick wire brush clean. The faucet is a standard Lowes sink faucet and is designed for 1/2" NPT fittings, so it's in Order. The problem is that the OD of the flange on the brass nuts is so small that they almost slip through the hole in the sink. These brass faucet nuts are 1 5/16" in diameter and the sink hole is 1 1/4" - not good! This leaves about 1/32 inch on each side of the porcelain sink to clamp the faucet and it only asks for a cracked sink. The plastic nuts are 1 3/4" in diameter, so 1/4" larger than the hole on either side - a good, strong mount, but still cheaper, brittle plastic. I'd happily pay $8 for 4 brass faucet nuts like this if they were at least 1 3/4" OD or if the company included 4 pieces of 1" brass washers for American style sinks. The 1" brass washer has a 2" OD so it can be used prior to installing the faucet nut. Brass flat washer, smooth finish, 1" bolt size, 1.06" ID, 2-1/2" OD, .14" thick. If the manufacturer made them US diameter, they would put an end to the problem with plastic faucet washers. in summary? - Bring them back to Revain.
