Review on GoSports Light Cornhole Tailgate Size by Abaraham Duvernot

I don't quite understand why there are mixed reviews on here. There were a few reviews commenting on the "slip and slide" effect of the surface and the "trampoline" rebound effect of throws, but I bought it anyway based on Revain's overall positive review. I should have listened to those negative reviews. Yes, the set is easy to carry in a bag and not that heavy to carry with an aluminum frame, but that's maybe the only positive. As soon as you start playing, you will quickly find that the beanbags slide off the board incredibly easily due to the incredibly smooth surface. If you try to drop the bag with any loft you will find the bag will just bounce off the board due to the trampoline resilience of the surfaces due to the way they are constructed and seated in the aluminum frames. . Basically, you can only score points with this set if you hit the ball perfectly into the hole. Otherwise everyone stands at the board for hours without a point. I was arguing between this kit and the solid wood tailgate kit, but decided in favor of it because (A) I thought the portability of the lightweight aluminum frame would outweigh any cons and (B) some reviews of the solid wood kit said, that there were manufacturing defects (e.g. flaked panels, etc.) or transport damage. I probably should have just bought a solid wood cornhole set and prayed for a good version when it arrived.
