I like pouring coffee on top of coffee so this type of kettle gives a smooth and even pour but the size of the jug is really smaller than I would like . When I make a coffee carafe with my Melitta, I usually have to fill it at least twice to make a full carafe of coffee. The metal is also fairly thin and light, so we'll see how long it lasts.
