I've been wanting to find a way to measure clubhead/ball speed during indoor training but haven't been able to get consistent results. After selecting the correct racquet in the app, measuring the distance from the device behind the ball (confirming the distance settings in the app are correct, making sure the ball is entering the training mesh appropriately), the "sights" along my Aligning the target line from a prone position, attaching the metal decals that came with the ball (which by the way cost $25 if/when you need to order more), and eliminating any potential sources of interference/noise, I have not been able to pinpoint or get consistent readings during indoor sessions.
