Review on Saucony Womens Walker W Black B Medium by Brenda Hobbs

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Definitely not what I expected

Since the reviews I read were so positive I decided to give it a try. I work in retail and can walk an average of 7 miles a day between the warehouse and the shop floor so my legs get a good workout. With my old boots (Under Armor almost a year old) I had severe pain in the toes when I came home at night. It is said to be caused by overpronation. Saucony's description states that this will solve this problem. The first day I came home smiling. No pain. Day 2 I wanted to cry. Although the pain in the tip of my foot has subsided, I now have 2 new problems. The nail plates on the big toes could not be touched and changed color. For some reason the shoes hurt my nail bed and I can't explain it. They were described as having a wider toe but when I opened the box the shoes were pointed instead of rounded. The second problem was my heels. At the end of the day they burned. I wore these shoes 3 days in a row and now they will be in my closet. Maybe it's because I'm 12 feet. Maybe I need 1/2 size bigger which is out of stock. I do not know.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Big and bulky
