Some of the other reviews said the colors weren't as pictured so I was nervous about ordering this blanket but I'm glad I did. It is beautiful and looks just like the photo. It beautified my ugly old armchair and went well with my decor. My husband loves it too. I think the advertised image shows the blanket lying sideways on the chair (i.e. the longer side goes left to right) so that the darker panels fall squarely in the middle. When I place it like this it hangs too low on the sides and doesn't cover the top and bottom of the chair. By positioning it to match the chair, the dark panels run down the center of the chair so they aren't as noticeable, but I don't mind that. I still think it looks great.
