This press started with an interesting result. The squeezer worked fine when we first used it, but the holder you place the orange on is a bit small so the oranges don't squeeze out all the way. The first time I cleaned, I found black oil on my fingers. Thought it was just a delivery. I've used this thing over a hundred times and it always had the same oil on its silver finish. After about a month of daily use, the press started to work poorly. The handle no longer pushes the plunger straight down when you pull it down, but leans back, requiring you to guide it with your hand to fit it into the mount. The press itself isn't very tall, allowing a small glass to fit under it, and the U-shaped base means a narrow glass. I would not recommend this product.
