I always wear a size 8 or 10 in jeans, trousers or shorts, so I kept going over the size. I ended up getting a Large although supposedly an average for an 8/10. The big one was too small at the waist and that's probably for 12/14. The hips and buttocks were fine but I couldn't close them. I reordered a size 16-18 although it seemed far fetched as I usually wear an 8 or 10. It fitted my waist, was a little on the waist but the hips were big. I can't win with that, so they both come back. I like the style, it just didn't suit me.
