This is my second Estarer bag and I can get hooked. My first was a shoulder bag for school. I liked the quality of this backpack and decided to search this company for a camera backpack. I needed a large backpack with dividers and extra pockets. My gear includes a Nikon D5500, several lenses, two camcorders, plus extra batteries, chargers, and other accessories. The bag replaces the $100+ Tenba. I was a bit concerned that a good bag would be cheap but based on good experience I decided to take a chance. Tenba is still in great shape. I hope the backpack style will help my back more than a shoulder bag. Here's what I like about it: Color - The brightness makes it easy to see black lenses and gear. Zippers - not only do they slide easily, but the zippers can be pulled together. To deter thieves, I can secure them with a travel lock and thread a short bike lock through the straps. Protection: Padding doesn't have to be soft and thick. It should be thick and hard to protect against bumps. I have a feeling this product delivers. The picture should give you a good idea of the fit. Fabric - Nylon fabric is tear-resistant and fairly tightly woven. Interior - A series of dividers allow me to separate the interior of the bag so I can store my gear more efficiently. Raincoat - Yes! Seams are reliable - Yes! What I don't like: Zipper flap - No. The flaps protect the camera from rain. There is no easy access. - My Tenba bag has a zip top closure so I have almost instant access to my camera. The Estarer photo backpack does not have this function. However, the zipper on the entire front flap is easy to open. This is how I get to the camera and components quickly. Overall I like this backpack. Padded shoulder straps are comfortable. No seams are missing, there is room for a tablet and a backpack. Best of all, I don't have to pawn any kids to buy a camera bag. This is a win for me.
