We are on a very slow weight loss path but I think this is helping my big cat Rudy lose weight. All my cats love this food and taste, I had no problem with anyone being picky. Unusually, it fills and satiates better than dry food. I was concerned about this because I didn't really think wet food would make him happy, but it seems to be helping! I've recently heard that it's better to give cats wet food to increase their hydration. For those trying to get a big cat to lose weight, it takes TIME. It's been about 5 months on this food and he's lost almost 1 pound. The vet said it could take a year for him to lose even 1 pound, so patience is key. I also no longer feed my pets for free. All of them are now on the feeding schedule.
