I decided to embrace my silvery gray hair but decided on one final highlight. silver hair. When she styled my hair I told her the bone looked very purple. She said she decided to make a silver and purple mix for me. While I was admittedly a little annoyed that she allowed herself to change the color without asking me, I was very happy with the result, so I agreed. On the other hand, my husband hated purple, so I bought Keracolor Silver. cowash and it gave me a very nice gray color. My daughter dyed her hair purple and it looked so good I decided to give purple a try again. I've tried Jhermack, Colorize and Color Pure all in purple. They all worked to bring back the purple hue, but it wasn't the brilliant bright purple I wanted. I bought this to try and I love the shade! Brilliant shimmering purple, just what I was looking for. The only problem is that it doesn't clean my hair very well. My hair looks greasy about 2 days after using it. I used to wash my hair every day but due to my age and some medication my hair is getting so thin that I only wash it once or twice a week. I have tried using a clarifying shampoo after having this shampoo in my hair for about 5 minutes but then it washes away most of the purple. It also makes my ends difficult to comb. I hope to find a solution soon.
