The ability for us as an organization with limited resources but high expectations was able take advantage of our customers' expertise in order build products quickly while getting expert feedback at every stage along their path through development; we didn't have this kind experience elsewhere during my career or among friends who were building new ventures before they got acquired by larger companies (which led me into consulting). We had many conversations about how much time each stakeholder spent working directly versus indirectly contributing value towards project outcomes -- I believe more people should be willing & capable enought o do both! It's easy now because there are so few barriers between stakeholders - no need to wait until you know someone personally if your product/service needs input beyond what can easily come via Twitter chats / Q&A sites etc., which still remains valuable when used correctly e.g.: 1) customer-facing support 2.) initial discovery 3.).
