I was expecting pops and such but I just needed a way to connect my echo dot to my stereo because the stereo lacks bluetooth and the echo is next to the stereo she can't hear a word of what I'm saying. They are on opposite sides of the room and the cable runs behind the furniture and everything is fine. No crunching, peeling and other things. I didn't hear any change in sound quality. The only way to know it's a cheap cable is by the material. It's a bit soft and thin, but that's not a big deal since it's not in a high-traffic area. Definitely worth it.
