I'm knocking out a star on the cord. Since it was advertised with a battery option I was happy to hang it up without the ugly cord showing. Instead, the battery component sits in the middle of a long cable and is huge. completely pointless in my opinion. The battery option is just a gimmick. I might not have bought it if I had known. However, the cable itself is somewhat see-through, which is not inexcusable. I'm very happy with the color options, including the distinction between "warm white" and "cool white". I bought warm white cursive and find it looks more mature than some of the other options. It is also not visually recognizable that it is plastic. I've asked my husband if he thinks it's too childish for our bedroom but he loves it.
