I could not find a locksmith who could program the key, except one. He wasn't viable because he wanted $750 to program the $30 key I got from AMAZON. I liked the $30 price on AMAZON until I realized I couldn't program it for a reasonable price in my area. Before you buy it from AMAZON, make sure it can be programmed at a reasonable price. I finally had my key appraised by a Mercedes dealer. I paid $30 plus for AMAZON KEY and at least $150 for low warranty programming. The retailer wanted $350, which was roughly the total cost of AMAZON. The dealer guaranteed his key. I found the retail price unreasonable but agreed. I recommend the dealer and avoid wasted $30 and wasted time and effort looking for a programmer.
