The SereneLife Intelligent Auto Robot Vacuum is a great purchase if you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner. I've had several generations of Roomba and SereneLife is less than half the money. While it's not perfect, I've already seen a firmware update and a few app updates in the few weeks I've been using it. The device worked great on my 1000sqm. feet and regularly gets 90% coverage before catching on something the kids missed. I've found SereneLife to be much less sensitive to perceiving chairs in my basements as cliffs when they fall at an angle compared to my Roomba 960, but it's not perfect. impressed with the accuracy of the griot-controlled pass. In one of my recordings you can see beautiful parallel passages. He also did a great job with my carpeted upstairs room. It picked up a lot of dust and there was no mess that had to be cleaned by the front or main brush like I have with the Roomba. Advantages: * Price! * Dual front brushes. It doesn't sound like much, but on a hard floor, the brushes on either side push dirt toward the center and do a better job on the edges of the room.* Additional details. I appreciate that the unit comes with an extra set of front brushes and an extra filter. * Large capacity trash can. Cons: * QR code to download app links outside of Google Play Store. I don't like sideloading APK files, so I just found the Smart Life app and installed it directly from Google Play.* The initial device setup took a few tries. After installing the new firmware, I rebooted the device and the second setup went without any problems.* You can accidentally reboot the device. Since the device has a single button for on/off, start/stop, I accidentally pressed it too many times in a row, which resulted in a factory reset. I would like an imperial/metric unit setting to be added to the app in the future.* Allow cliff sensors to be turned off or sensitivity reduced. I have a couple of slightly arched chairs and depending on how the robot vacuum gets into them, it occasionally triggers a cliff/ledge alert.
