The case works great! I recently did this with my Theta SC.
Case works great! I recently took it on a wreck dive in Micronesia with my Theta SC, although I was concerned about the 30m rating it lasted out to 50m! So if you're careful with the O-ring, it shouldn't overflow. A disadvantage is that the tripod is mounted from below. It is very easy to cut the threads as they are made of acrylic. Frame: You can see the lower case in your frames, so it's not as clean as it is without a case. Even with a cover, the stitching is more visible. A small note: Of course, since Theta doesn't have eternal light, the frames get all the better the closer to the surface. Finally:
