Bought this hub assembly for my 1996 Grand Marquis. They arrived as advertised. The only thing that disappointed me is that they are made in Korea. I was hoping to buy American made products but I think that's almost impossible. Unfortunately! Ford uses a compression nut to hold the stock hubs. To remove them you need a 36mm head and a good pry bar. After wrestling with the driver's side, I found that turning the handlebars to the left allows you to tighten the hub nut better and to tilt the breaker better, making it easier to remove. You'll also need a large 250-foot-pound torque wrench. as a torque specification. is approximately 220 ft. lb. Also, you will need a new nut for each hub as old nuts cannot be reused. I'm happy with the results and still think the Timken is one of the best hubs available. I only wish they were made here.
