I really like this light, it's very bright and light. I didn't use an LED controller or an LED board connector. I cut off the quick connector and soldered the wires to the switch which has constant current so I can always turn the light on. In general, for the price it's worth, the regular lampshade is very dim, and in the rear seats, the lampshade doesn't reach the back of the cabin. If they could improve the design, I would suggest the quality of the light design itself. Mine was slightly curved so it didn't sit perfectly flat on the rear window. But that's not a big drawback, the light still works perfectly.
