Review on Kimily Painting Colorful Decoration Dalmatian by Kelsey Brown

Paint by number (PBN) is not new to me. I've been making them since I was a kid and I'm a great graphic designer with an artistic eye and experience. Bought just to relax and enjoy the repetitive PBN. This kit was awful! The colors didn't match the supplied sample image, particularly the background color "blue" which was off-white instead. Also, the patches of color on the canvas were poorly defined and also didn't match the pattern pattern, making the finished painting look like a bunch of colored blobs with eyes. "Brushes" (there are 2 of them) did not exist in the image. There is a large orange area in the bottom left corner that doesn't make any sense covering the puppy's leg area - what is the leg and what table/floor is the puppy on? Other areas were indistinguishable after painting, even when carefully following the inner lines and detailing the brushes. The end result was an embarrassment. I won't crop it. It's currently in the closet; I'm not sure if I should keep it or just throw it away. Even after I've used my artistic skills to add brushes and better define some areas, it still looks like a mess. Very sad because it seemed like such a cute picture.
