This palette contains several beautiful shades of eyeshadow. They're more orange and red than I usually use and it's nice to have those options when I want to change them up. The box that contains nine colors is strong. It opens to reveal a large vanity mirror. I usually use it at home and look in my makeup mirror. The palette contains a few matte, some shimmery and some glittery eyeshadows. The mats fit well and have good durability. I use brushes to apply color to the eyes. Shimmer and glitter tones don't work as well as matte tones with my brushes. They also require more layers for a solid color and the shadows get harder in the crease of my eyelid at the end of a long day. However, they look great and I love wearing them when I want a dramatic color. The pigment is quite dark and looks the same to my eyes as it does in the palette. I didn't have a bad reaction to this makeup. It cleans easily with make-up remover and toner. The design of the Sun palette is so cute. I think it will also be a good gift for someone.
