First of all it's really the same as MB ii v 2.0. Same 3 brand choices when activated (MB/Smart/Sprinter). Upgrades are available on the website. I looked at many many options, I really wanted something that could handle many machines, not just MB. In the end, I wanted something inexpensive that would best match a Benz. In my 2013 E350 it found 22 different subsystems that it could read. Very good. It won't do anything for my Wrangler JK - I didn't even read some of the trouble codes I knew were on the computer at the time. So great for MB but not for other cars. For those looking for transmission temps (to service fluid/filter yourself) this one has it. I think for the price you will have a hard time finding the code. a reader who has so many possibilities.
