Great CD player, not very good speaker sound.
This little CD player is unique with external speakers, the only ones I've seen. There may be cheaper ones, but not as far as I know. The only problem is that the external speakers are weak and don't deliver much volume. You always want to turn up the volume when you're having trouble hearing something, especially in a car or in moderate noise. The sound is great when using the included headphones, but I would replace them with higher quality headphones. Overall I am very happy with this little device.
