I bought this over 3 years ago and thought it was time to write a review. In my case, it's true that the buttons don't exactly match the template. I need to click right above the button image on the panel. But it seems to me that this is not rocket science and in all this time it has never been a problem. I bought this scale specifically to weigh coffee for espresso shots (about 16.5 grams) and it has worked well every time. I started using this to weigh recipes. Instead of messing up a bunch of measuring cups and spoons, simply place the container on the scale and start pouring the ingredients. Much less messy and my balsamic vinaigrette comes out perfect every time. I also mix my morning protein shake on this scale. It's amazing how much better they taste when the weight of water, strawberries, and yogurt is the same every time. I seem to change the batteries often, but I think it's closer to every 6 months. I like that it comes with calibration weights. I've used them every time I put in new batteries and it's just a little reassurance that the scale is doing its job. I've had cases where they seemed to move a few tenths of a gram for no reason, but it's so rare. I wonder if an external factor might be at work.
