Review on TORREY SR 50/100 Electronic Digital Shipping Scale: Large Backlit Display - 100 lb Capacity by Chris Scalia

This is actually an update. These scales have a bubble level built into the front of the weighing area. I didn't realize how important it is to have a flat, stable surface to get accurate results. THEY DO. The "legs" are adjustable, so alignment takes about a minute. Nothing wrong with that. I used a scale and instead of connecting to electricity I used the battery method. I now believe the problem was that I worked in a cold store where the temperature is kept at 20+ F. I now believe that the cold caused the scale to become unstable when weighed. I plugged the scale into an outlet and it worked fine after we leveled it. Well, most people do NOT work in cold temperatures, so this problem I've had isn't a problem for most. I used the scale at normal room temperature with the batteries that came with it and the scale worked well so I now recommend this product.
