Flavor makes solid rice cooker, all reviews are pretty good Board - this one is no different. It's very similar to some of the cheaper digital models but with more features. I'm not sure how the sensor logic (fuzzy logic) works, but the picture comes out perfect, no timer, don't worry about the accurate measurement. The brown rice was a real challenge and it came out phenomenal, not burnt or unevenly cooked - quite an achievement considering how long it takes to cook - I've never been able to cook brown rice right in a pan. **Not sure what planet the last reviewer is on -- Firstly, you can't leave rice in it for 2 days (12 hours max). literally out of print just a few days before Christmas, I searched weeks beforehand) Rmoon's talk is iffy at best - user error is obvious
