Rags and leaves get caught in the teeth. I threw it away.
Unfortunately this material is crumbling like crazy. I'm an experienced flosser and I'm really moving down the flossing line. But this thing fell apart no matter what. I've had good luck with other inexpensive brands like Western Family, but this stuff was terrible. I threw away most of the rolls I bought. The only plus is that it's cheap, but I wouldn't use it if it was free.
