Doesn't work at all

I bought this to switch between my computer and the surveillance system but all I got was a black screen. I tried this on 3 different screens and got the same results so I requested a replacement. When I tried my replacement, all I got was a black screen. So I tried a combination of 8 devices and 12 screens, it took about 2 days, and every time I had the same problem. So it is required for 4k switching.
