This part was not easy to install. I have a Honda Shadow 750. One side needs to be shaved off about half an inch. On the other hand lots of wd40 and a big mallot, finally got it only to have it removed because the other one wasn't seated properly. Simply order from the dealer. As time passed, money and now a reprieve to ride. Just not worth the trouble
