Like many people, I have young children (8 & 6) who are now attending virtual classrooms. They didn't use PCs much before COVID and I wanted to give them the best possible experience to keep them motivated. Needless to say both kids loved it. They loved how easy it glides, the weight, the size and of course the fact that it can light up. They don't compete with gamers, so we don't use the included pen stickers. An interesting feature was that one child likes to keep the logo one color and another likes to change colors and the Razer Synapse3 software allows both to be placed. If you're working with kids, all you have to do is change the DPI settings to 1 or 2 settings (5 by default). 6400 DPI and children are not compatible. Compared to previous standard/basic optical mice, even kids could feel the difference. The mouse is lighter, glides easier and is more comfortable on the hands. The ability to change lighting and DPI are bonuses. From an adult point of view. I've been using the full-size Razer DeathAdder on my desktop for a few years now, so I feel I can give a pretty good comparison between the large and mini versions. In short, the Mini is just a smaller DeathAdder in terms of feel with just two changes. The first (and smallest) change is that the scroll wheel trim doesn't glow like it does in full size (the logo still glows). although). The second change is the DPI toggle button. Singular. The full-size has two buttons - DPI-up and DPI-down; The Mini only has one, which scrolls to the max and then restarts at the very bottom. Having to scroll all the way would be detrimental in some fast action gaming situations, but since people tend to leave DPI static after launch, it's probably minimal. Otherwise, the button looks a bit cheaper than on the full sizes, but I don't find it functional. It's probably just a big physical pad mounted on the same switches. Since the DPI toggle button is the least used button, I think it's fine. TLDR; Buy it for kids and gamers with small hands.
